Suspension of TLD

On June 27, 2012, the National Telecommunications and Information Agency (NTIA) of the US Government determined that the domain is no longer serving its intended purpose as per the Dot Kids Implementation and Efficiency Act of 2002.

As a result, the domain space will be suspended effective July 27, 2012 (Suspension Date).

As a result, EnCirca has immediately suspended the registration and renewal of all domain names.

If you have content on your domain names, please remove all such content from their sites by no later than September 30, 2012.  Although for the past several years, Neustar has waived the content management fee to encourage the proliferation of website, if content is not removed from the websites by that date, Neustar reserves the right to charge each domain name registrant a content management fee on a pro-rated bases starting from October 1st, 2012.

By July 27, 2013, Neustar is required to remove all domain name registrations from the .us zone regardless of the registration expiration date.
