Internet advertising picks up steam

Google reports that revenue increased for the third quarter of 2009 as companies spent more on internet advertising. This is dispite strapped marketing budgets as businesses try to cut costs.

The likely reason is that internet advertising is more cost-effective than other forms of advertising, such as print, radio and TV.
